Life Skills

Life skills refer to the skills you need to make the most out of life.

We recognise that any skill can be considered to be a life skill, however, here we are focusing on some of the skills needed to deal effectively with the challenges of life.

We offer work experience placements for Year 10 and 11 students with employers and partners across London.

Providing a wide
range of opportunities

Due to our success rate and client relationships, we are able to provide a wide range of placements in the tech, digital, creative and construction industries.

Work experience can last anything from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the employer and the work experience programme.

All placements are assessed for suitability including health and safety, safeguarding, insurance and tasks.

If for some reason a placement is not approved, we have the expertise to work with schools, colleges, and employers to secure a placement that meets the requirement, where necessary.
We ensure that once we have secured a placement, we continue to offer our support and expertise to stakeholders.

We can provide training and supervision throughout the work experience placement and there will be a review session at the end to find out how it has gone and to learn from an individual's experience.

Our advice to employers includes operating a buddy or mentor programme for the individual, providing an allowance for travel and food, and the employer being able to act as a referee to the individual in future job applications!
