You’ll have one-to-one meetings with your trainer typically in a range of learning environments. Communication, listening, providing feedback, and involving learners in learning plans  are essential in assessing your learning progress. When you face a challenge, change, maintain focus, and maintain self-control, you will need to be resilient and adaptable.

Functional Skills Training

You will need to obtain Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and Functional Skills English qualifications if you have not already achieved your GCSE Grade 4/C.

In the long run, this will be beneficial to you at any future work base or educational setting. After completing a diagnostic assessment at the beginning of your course, you will receive an individual maths and English learning plan.

During your learning, you’ll work on BKSB and receive support from a functional skills tutor to develop your skills. When you are ready to take your assessment, you will take the tests remotely or by attending a venue in your area. Your Functional Skills test will be scheduled at the beginning of your apprenticeship.

A graduate of this course will gain an understanding of teaching that they can apply to FE Colleges, Independent Training Providers, or Local Authorities.

Education Training - Level 3

It is the right apprenticeship for anyone hoping to start a career in teaching and training in the further education and skills sector. In case you have already earned some Learning and Development units that can be carried over or would like one to help make career decisions, this short qualification will greatly benefit you.

Currently, working as an assessor? Well, you can achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching. A trainee teacher’s practice may be observed and provided with feedback, even though the qualification does not require teaching experience.

In relation to teaching/training, you will be able to understand your own roles, responsibilities and boundaries after completing this course. Plan, deliver, observe, and evaluate micro-teach sessions using appropriate teaching and learning approaches. As well as delivering inclusive sessions that motivate learners and use different assessment methods, you are capable of delivering inclusive sessions.

Health Care And Social Care - Level 3

A health and social care apprenticeship is equivalent to two ‘A’ Levels and will give you the opportunity to learn new skills and gain theoretical knowledge.

It covers a wide range of job roles on two pathways:

Adult Social Care

An example would be working in the NHS, a private company, a local authority, or a nonprofit organisation. During this programme, you will be taught one-to-one by the trainer/assessor, or in small groups within your workplace. This qualification will also be supported by your employer.

Those who are disabled, elderly, or have learning disabilities need social care – personal care assistants may be apprentices who specialise in social care. This course is for health care workers between the ages of 16 and 24.

The same applies to those who have been promoted within their current company and need to supervise and manage their staff.

Following the Department for Economy’s guidelines, you’ll need to complete the Apprenticeship Framework to achieve a Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

You will also learn Employment Rights and Responsibilities.

Your career progression will open up several opportunities within the Health and Social Care sector, such as Team Leader or Deputy Manager positions.

As a qualified professional within the industry, you will receive recognition for your level 3 qualification.

Also, you can progress to the Higher Level Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care (Adults) or to a part-time QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults).
