Speak and write at a minimum of Level 3 English (this will be assessed prior to confirmation of your place on the course.)
CSCS Labourers Card
The CSCS Labourer Card is one of the first steps on the ladder in your career as a construction worker. Also known as the CSCS Green Card, most construction sites will require you to hold this card if you are seeking work as a labourer on-site. Acquiring the Green Labourers card show employers you have the passed the GQA Health and Safety course and shows you have awareness on site safety requirements.
Who should enroll?
Anyone 16 plus can enroll onto the course. You are not required to have any prior experience on site you just need to be physically fit and willing to work.
What will you gain?
> Award in Health and Safety in the Construction Environment.
> Green Labourers Card
How it works:
You will complete a workbook to gain your certificate Award in Health and Safety in the Construction Environment.
On day 2 on completion of your workbook you will take a 1-hour online test consisting of 59 questions. In order to pass you will need to gain an 80% pass rate.
At the end of your test the administrator will inform you of the outcome of your test.

Section One- Know the principles of risk assessment for maintaining and improving health and safety at work.
Section 2- Know the importance of safe manual handling in the workplace
Section Three- Know the importance of working safely at height in the workplace
Section Four – Know the risks to health within a construction environment
Section Five- Know the importance of working safely around plant and equipment

This SIA Door Supervisor course is suitable for anyone looking to work as a Door Supervisor or a Security Guard. Licence holders can work in nightclubs, events, retail and businesses. You can earn up to £2,500 per month.
